The department is proud to announce that on Friday, March 18, 2022, Ricardo Vazquez successfully defended his Ph.D. dissertation, "A sonic island: aurality, literature and politics in the written and radio works of Severo Sarduy (Cuba, 1937-France, 1993),” under the direction of Prof. Daniel Balderston. We wish him the best in all his future endeavors.
